    Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic targeted by Juventus to replace Manchester United bound Paul Pogba - Monday's transfer gossip

    The transfer window is in full flow with less than three weeks until the new Premier League season kicks off.
    Some clubs have been enjoying better preparations than others, with Manchester United's pre-season trip to China not going according to plan.
    Jose Mourinho's side were set to play Manchester City in Beijing but the game has now been called off to bad weather.

    And the Red Devils' pursuit of Paul Pogba continues to rumble on, with new reports suggesting the club have been told to up their most recent bid of £92m for the France international.

    Juventus, understandably, are said to be keen to secure the best possible financial deal for their prize asset and have reportedly turned their attention to Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic as they seek a replacement a for Pogba.
    Meanwhile, Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino's in-tray appears to be pretty full at the moment.
    Southampton are believed to be preparing a £5m bid for full back Kieran Trippier while Swansea are weighing up a move for Alex Pritchard. Clinton N'Jie could also be edging towards the White Hart Lane exit.
    Elsewhere in the capital, it has been claimed Crystal Palace are leading the race for West Brom Saido Berahino - for now. But Stoke City are reportedly preparing a counter bid for the striker.
