The technical crew departed Abuja with seven players on ground at about 2pm yesterday to meet the other foreign based players who had already landed to welcome them as they hit Uyo for the much important match.

He noted that the only players that are being expected are Ahmed Musa and newly wedded Elderson Echiejile

“Ahmed Musa and Elderson will join us tomorrow (today),” disclosed the Eagles coach, who noted that the team would be targeting its third straight win in Uyo on Saturday.

“We are happy to be in Uyo and we are looking to win a third straight game here. We want to qualify for Nations Cup because it’s a fantastic adventure.” He said.

The Eagles will be expected to step up preparations for Saturday's AFCON 2019 Qualifiers against South Africa, with full training ahead of the clash set to begin today.
