    Ex-Wife Of Late NBA Player Lorenzen Wright Arrested In Connection With His Murder

    Reports have it that police has arrested the ex-wife of slain NBA player Lorenzen Wright, has been arrested in connection with his murder. 
    Fox13 reports that Sherra Wright was arrested in Riverside, Calif, on Friday night, a little over seven years after Lorenzen’s bullet-riddled body was found decomposing in a Tennessee suburb.
    The charges she faces since the indictment is yet to be revealed.
    A deacon at the church Lorenzen and Sherra Wright attended, Billy Turner, was also reportedly arrested and has been charged with first-degree murder. He pleaded not guilty.
    Fox13 reports that Lorenzen’s murder remained one of Memphis police’s highest-profile cold cases until a murder weapon was found by investigators in Mississippi last month.
    34-year old Lorenzen, who played for Cleveland Cavaliers was last seen on July 18, 2010, as he left his ex-wife’s home.
    Wright’s mother filed a missing-person report with Collierville police on July 22, 2010.
    His body was later found in a field near some woods in the height of summer. An autopsy later showed bullet fragments were lodged in Wright’s skull, chest and right forearm.
    Deborah Marion, Lorenzen’s mother expressed her relief after Turner was arrested
    She told WREG-TV, “Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. You gotta pray for what you want and that’s what I did.”
