Former President General of Onitsha Markets Amalgamated Traders Association, OMATA, Chief Pius Ozoh Anekwe Tuesday said that harassment and intimidation of Senate President Dr Bukola Saraki and his Deputy Chief Ike Ekweremadu will not save All Progressives Congress, APC from its immenent collapse.
Chief Anaekwe however said that what will rescue the party from its near collapse is for the party to beg President Mohammad Buhari to step aside, and the newly elected National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to resign becaues he will kill the party before 2019 general election.
Chief Anaekwe also advised the party to stop listening and taking the advise of the national leader of the party Senator Bola Tinibu because all his advise has failed the party.
Reacting in Onitsha to the recent intimidation and harassment of the Senate President and his Deputy, by the Police and the Department of State Services, DSS, Chief Anekwe said that President Buhari has killed APC with his policies and style of administration, while Comrade Oshiomhole has come to bury the party.
“APC died the day it removed its former National Chairman Chief John Oyegun following the party’s decision to obey the demands of Senator Tinubu to remove him.
“APC made a big mistake by electing Comrade Oshiomhole, as its national chairman, a man known for his arrogant approach to issues. He has already started giving orders to Ministers, arrogating the powers of the President to himself, and that means the final burial of the party which he is supervising now.
“Making Comrade Oshiomhole national chairman of crisis ridden APC is like giving a carpenter a damage iron chair to repair.
“Tinubu is instrumental to the ordeal of the Senate President, Saraki, he was also instrumental to the removal of Chief John Oyegun, and all the advise have backfired against the party, and so they should discard any advice given to them by Senator Tinubu.”
